"And The Child Grew"

From the infant in the manger, weak and dependent, to the mighty Son of God we know as Jesus Christ.

That's my Jesus.

In Him is contained all of the attributes of God because He is God.

Don't ever forget He IS God. Never doubt that He IS God.

This is why He is worthy of our praise. He never had to anything to be worthy of that.

But He did.

Luke 2:40 (AMP) - "And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of God was upon Him."

And then He fulfilled everything that He came to accomplish.

He was born to die for us.

We were born to praise and honor Him.

That works real well for me.

It would work real well for the entire world.

I like what Bill Johnson said this morning.

"This life is the only heaven the unbeliever will ever know. This life is the only hell the believer will ever know."

Think about that.

It could be so much better if everyone just acknowledged Jesus. And for more than just one month a year.

Well, the true performer will always perform. In other words, those of us who love Jesus and live for Him will always do that right on through eternity. Eternal life began the moment I bowed to Him.

From an infant. Oh, how He grew!

He is awaiting the day He will welcome and greet me into my new home.

I believe Jesus is excited about that.
