"Jesus Is Always Where He Can Be Found"

The Word of God is always true. Whether written or spoken, it is His truth for us today as it always has been.

The shepherds found that out.

The angels told them they would find Jesus after searching for Him. They even told them where to look.

Luke 2:16 (AMP) - "So they went with haste and [by searching] found Mary and Joseph, and the Baby lying in a manger."

They went. They searched. They found.

Nothing has changed in over 2,000 years.

Jesus can be found. In fact, He is a lot closer to you than He was to the shepherds.

He is closer because He has actually been waiting for you.

He is no farther away than the utterance of your words.

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, you WILL be saved" (Romans 10:9).

In the previous verse Paul says Christ, The Word "...is near you, on your lips and in your heart."

He is always where God says He will be.

Once He was in the manger. Once He was in the Jordan getting baptized. Once He was on the Cross dying for you and I. Once He was in the grave awaiting a glorious Resurrection. Now He is in Heaven at the right hand of the Father interceding for us.

Now He is present by the Holy Spirit, prodding, poking, convicting, and speaking to our spirit that He is near.

John says in Revelation that "He stands at the door and knocks".

Have you heard His knock? It's a sweet knock. Soft. Gentle. A "love tap".

I remember the day I answered. He came in and never left.

What a great time of year to let Jesus in!

A loved one needs this today. A neighbor needs this today. A son or daughter needs this today.

Perhaps even you need this today.

Keepin' it Real,
