Because

"Because" is purposeful.

The blind (physical and spiritual), the captives (physical and spiritual), the sifted as wheat by the devil, the whooped and the beaten. The tired and the poor (physical and spiritual). The oppressed, depressed, obsessed, and possessed.

The broken down shell of a former self who can't even see a glimmer of hope anymore.

Luke 4:18 (AMP) - "The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity]."

There isn't a Sunday gone by that one of these folks didn't show up at your church.

There isn't a Sunday gone by where someone anointed by God wasn't supposed to do something about it.

Not just in church. Everywhere.

There is plenty to keep the anointed of God busy every day and everywhere.

That dust you are walking on is the hopes and dreams of humanity crushed into a fine poweder by the powers of hell.

We are supposed to care about that way past a fine how do you do and "I'll be praying".

We are supposed to be announcing their recovery and release.

Around my church we call that "Victory!".

If the gates of hell are not going to prevail than we had better be doing this.

Setting the captives free is a full frontal assault against the gates of hell.
