"Stretch Out Your Hand", by Pastor Kevin Lynch

A bunch of us gathered to pray last night.

We prayed the Word of God.

We took Jesus at His word where He says "Come to me and I will give you rest."

Oh yeahhhhh....sweet comfort, peace, and rest.

How we all need that in today's times.

We prayed like the early church prayed. Nothing fancy, but full of heart and spirit.

We prayed Acts 4.

We came together and it seemed like we were all in one heart and mind.

No one had to tell us we needed to be that. We just were.

We hugged and loved on each other. We anointed and laid our hands on for healing and strength.

We comforted each other. Even when the enemy brought tragic news into our midst at that very hour.

We just all thought it was time.

"Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus" (Acts 4:29-30).

Consider. Enable. Stretch out Your hand. Heal us.

Jesus loves to do that when He is invited into the midst of His servants.

Our duty is to believe it, accept it, and run with it.

"With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all" (vs.33).

That's what we need this morning. A GREAT grace.

I pray that down upon you today. A GREAT grace.

Grace that will enable you to stand in the face of anything that is thrown at you.

Grace that fills you to where you cannot contain it and it overflows onto others surrounding you.

Grace that testifies to the Lord Jesus Christ without even to have to open your mouth.

So much grace that when people come into contact with you today they will feel that they have been in the presence of Jesus Himself!

Be blessed in everything today!

Keepin' it Real,

Pastor Kevin <><
